Anti-Social Behaviour Update

Dear residents,

Officers from South Tottenham Safer Neighbourhood Team have been conducting patrols around anti-social behaviour hotspots, targeting communal areas in and around apartment blocks on the ward. As it gets colder, we generally see an increase in anti-social behaviour and drug use being committed in these communal areas within buildings. 

Yesterday, we identified a well known individual for committing drug use and anti-social behaviour. The subject was arrested by your local officers for breaching a Community Protection Notice and Criminal Damage to a communal area within a building. 

If you live in an apartment block, please double check who you let into the building by verifying who is buzzing or knocking. If an individual who uses an apartment block to commit anti-social behaviour sees the building as an easy access target, they often invite other people inside which can exacerbate the problem.
